Myth #1 Argireline ® Is a Topical Alternative to Botox

Argireline ® is a peptide that prevents a protein that triggers muscle contraction from binding and starting the process. When it is applied the goal is for it to inhibit muscle contraction. However it does not paralyze muscles the way Botox does.

Myth #2 Argireline ® Will Instantly Remove Wrinkles Like Botox

Comparatively, Botox’s result are instantaneous and if you are injected you will see immediate reduction of wrinkles. Myth #3 Permanently Get Rid of Your Wrinkles

Today there is nothing that will permanently get rid of wrinkles. Just like Botox has to be reapplied, you have to continue to use Argireline ® to see its wrinkle reducing benefits. Argireline ® works by combatting repeated muscle contractions that lead to wrinkles so if you stop using it, it will not being able to combat this action.

Myth #4 Argireline ® Can Work On Any Type of Wrinkle

Argireline ® combats muscle contraction. So it is most effective combating fine lines and wrinkles that form as a result of repeated muscle movements. Wrinkles like smile lines, frown lines, and crows feet are commonly caused by repeated muscle movement when you make facial expressions. These are the types of wrinkles that Argireline ® was designed to tackle. Wrinkles that form as a result of UV damage or other factors in aging skin are not suitable for Argireline ® to try and tackle.

Myth # 5 It Can Be Your Only Anti-Aging Serum

Some marketing messages suggest that products containing Argireline ® alone can address all anti-aging concerns. In reality, aging is a complex process and you are going to need a comprehensive skincare approach that includes other beneficial ingredients like sunscreen, antioxidants, and moisturizers for optimal results. In general, there is no one skincare product that can address all of your anti-aging concerns. So you should be skeptical of any marketing that says otherwise.
