My name is Allison. I have my Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering. In school, I studied how different materials interact with tissues in the body. After school, I took a job outside my focus area, but I still loved and was interested in how materials interact with your body.
So that influenced me to start my blog, Relatable Science. All beauty and skincare products are designed to interact with your body, and I love researching and understanding the science behind them. Whether it is learning more about a new ingredient or the way wrinkles are formed learning about the way materials interact with the body is a passion of mine.
